HOLLABRUNN – Rotation to other clinics is becoming more and more important due to increasing specialization in all clinical subjects. The fact that all Lower Austrian state and university hospitals are part of the Lower Austrian State Health Agency and are therefore only subordinate to one provider simplifies the administrative effort and at the same time creates a wide range of possibilities.

The surgical departments of the Hollabrunn and Wiener Neustadt state hospitals are geographically far apart, but are equally interesting for medical professionals due to their different therapeutic focuses and the corresponding expertise.

After preliminary discussions with the heads of the surgical departments, the senior physicians Dr. Udo Wolfsdorf and Dr. Stefan Schöppl from Hollabrunn and Dr. Kabalan from Wiener Neustadt decided to take advantage of the possibility of a temporary change for professional exchange.
